Cryptography

The idea for this sculpture evolved from the idea of a "skin" not unlike that of the bark of a tree or of a thin layer of frozen ice.  The pleating was inspired by the fronds of ferns and the reflection of light playing off of them.  Hammered by hand and fabricated from a single sheet of copper.
